Subtracted point source leaves remaining gain errors. RMS of the residual image ~ 10 mJy (according to kvis) which is ~0.1% of the 10 Jy point source.

The chi-squared minimistation of the model (noise) and the data produced the solutions shown the below plot. The amplitude of each antennas gain is seen to have a slow varying sinusoidal behaviour. Note the Imaginary solutions are zero (as simulated).

The corrected residuals have the appearance of pure random noise apart from one or two linear features but this is all around the 1 microJansky level and is probably numeric(?).
